I Love the Dyson DC17 Animal Vacuum

Pros: Great suction, Lifetime Hepa filter, Finally a vacuum that pick up that pet hair.

Cons: The wand is too long, and the hose is not flexible or long enough.

The Bottom Line: This is a great vacuum. The Dyson's suction is unlike any other vacuum on the market. Plus the lifetime Hepa Filter will save you money in the long run.

Do you have pets and allergies? Then this vacuum is for you. I bought my Dyson about 3 years ago and I LOVE IT! I had just bought one of those other vacuums and was so frustrated with all the pet hair still on the carpet. I told my husband "I don't care what is costs I'm getting a Dyson". We have a dog and two cats so you can imagine the pet hair problem. The Dyson has great suction, so the pet hair isn't left on the carpet or upholstery, it also can vacuum hard wood or tile floors. For the allergy suffers the Dyson has a lifetime Hepa filter. With the Dyson you'll save money in the long run, there are no costly Hepa Filters to continuously buy. Most of the attachments are stored on the vacuum for easy access when needed. The stair attachment that comes with the vacuum is easy to use and is just as powerful as the vacuum itself. The only draw back is the hose isn't long enough to vacuum my entire staircase, so I have to move the vacuum. The design of the wand could be revamped, shorten the wand and add an attachment for length. Overall there is no comparison to the Dyson DC 17 Animal vacuum, when this one is worn out I'll be buying another Dyson.
