Pros: The suction is great. It can go on carpet or hardwood floors. Cord is long.

Cons: Wish the cord was a detractable one

The Bottom Line: I recommend this to everyone who has pets. It has great suction, durable, good quality and gives you great results!

I had bought the dyson because we wanted a vacuum that I didn't have to replace all the time. With two little kids, dogs, and allergies I needed something that was going to help me with as little effort as possible.
  I have had my dyson animal vac for well over a year and love it! I can use it everywhere and anywhere! The hose detaches and comes with attachments  so that I can do around corners, along the edges and seams, carpets, curtains, couches, and in those tight areas in between my washer and dryer that no fingers can go. It can go on the hard wood floors and the rubber piece is so you don't scratch your hard wood or kitchen floors! 
  It stands about four and feet and fits great into a closet. My husband has back problems and has no problems using this!
    Another reason I love my dyson is it hasn't lost it's suction. It really stands up to what I expected and more! I thought the suction would eventually loose it's power but it hasn't at all.
     I also love the fact that I can empty the canister with one hand. And the top comes off to wash it! It's very convenient.  It also has a long long cord! It can reach up from my bedroom to my kitchen without a strain! 
The only thing I wish it had was detractable cord. I found it be a little on the heavy side.
My kids even like to use it!I will never go back to any other vacuum. I have family and friends hooked on dyson! Well worth the money I spent.
