Ever since Playstation 2 had found its way into my daily life, one of the only games that has stuck with me was a very innovative game based on the extreme out look on snowboarding. The first game "SSX" Had to do with fast paced gameplay and mild tricks to gain points. Soon enough Microsoft had come out with a new system...X-box. One of its kick off games was no other then the long awaited sequel, "SSX Tricky" Which this time around is more geared towards the best aspect of the original game...Tricks. With tricks like break dancing on your board, riding it like a cowboy, and even spinning it around your neck there is just no end to the amount of stunts you could whip up one run. With over id say...10 characters to choose from..EACH with their own 3 special tricks there is just endless possibilities. Most characters are lame excuses to gather younger audiences, but that put aside you really dont notice it while your playing your to involved trying to figure out the over 100 shortcuts throughout the game. Although the missions towards the end of the game can get aggravating there is always something the next time around which proves there is another way through it. Although the controls for the PS2 version of this game is far more superior, if you own just the X-Box you wouldnt know otherwise. All in all this game was great follow up to such a great game.
