I've never been a fan of any snowboarding games. The last snowboarding game I had tried was the original SSX for ps1, I decided to give this one a shot and was thoroughly surprised. It turned out to be a really fun game to play. It had a good entertainment value in that with every charactre they have an Uber boarder costume that's pure chrome, it's worth the effort trying to get. The other plus is that you find yourself wanting to play every character to see what kind of moves they can bust out on the board. Some of these moves are very very awesome indeed. The greatest thing is just flying down the mountain side at a phenomenal amount of speed and busting out some 'tricky' moves, when your trick meter is full to the point you can pull you're uber trick, some will recognize the music of Run DMC's song tricky playing for a second or so in the background. Sometimes it gets annoying when your board seems to go staggering slow, but besides that slight flaw it's an overall good game, I would recommend atleast renting
