Pros: Easy to use, reliable, and well built.
Cons: Can be expensive and uses premium fuel.
I haved owned a lawn maintenance business for 14 years. When I first started a used whatever equipemnt I could afford ... which usually wasn't much. As business improved and I learned more and more .... I have learned that Echo is the only way to go. The PB 620ST backpack blower is no exception.
This is an outstanding blower. It is powerful, it starts easily, runs strong, and does everything I ask it too. As blowers go, this one is relatively quiet for it's size and purpose. Relatively light weight for it's size and intended purpose ... it is comfortable to use due to the padding on the back of the blower and the jpadding the straps. The throttle has a built in 'cruise control' so you don't have to hold the trigger the whole time you are using it. Simple to use too. Set the throttle setting to a run position, prime the engine with the primer bulb, choke it, pull the start cord a couple of time, unchoke it, pull the start cord again, and she fires right up. Then she blows leaves or whatever you need to move where ever you want to move them too.
The disadvantage to these units is that use premium fuel for optimum performance and they are not cheap. This unit retails for about $440. But it will last a long time. If you are considering a $100 unit and think it will last a long time .... you will get more than the 4 plus times this one cost out of it in the additional life and performance. Sometimes you get what you pay for, and with this blower or any piece of power equipment built by Echo ... you will definately get what you pay for.
