JazzyBass's Full Review: E.J.'s Luncheonette - Upper East Side
E.J.'s lunchonette is a great place to bring the kids. It is reminiciant of the nineteen fifties sock hops and drive up diners. The food is good if you are looking for a diner type meal. I have found that the breakfast is much better than the lunches and less exspensive than the lunches. E.J's is also a long cry from the glitz and glamour of the East Side. The service was excellent and I liked the Belgian Waffle I ordered. Very large helpings. This restaurant has other locations in Westport, CT and Greenwich Village. This place is great for the family and breakfast but I wouldn't take a girlfriend, wife, or business person there.
