Pros: Very fast, ton of storage, a lot of plug in's Convenient help features
Cons: Broken DVD-RW (after 3 months), No Microsoft Word, Customer Service number is long distance!
The Bottom Line: I would recommend it, people pay $1000's and some things still need replacing. This is affordable with many features.

| kaseylynn13's Full Review: eMachines T5026 PC Desktop |
From the beginning this computer has been very easy to use. A little odd that you have to save all the files yourself for backups when you first turn it on instead of the CD's just being included but easy to do but atleast you get practice burning. The fan comes on very loud when you first turn it on and I thought it was broken but I'm used to it now, no big thing. You can fly through photos, surf the web, work in Works, and listen to music all at the same time with ease. The Norton Antivirus which came with it free for 3 months never worked b/c it said I had to uninstall it and reinstall but ofcourse once I uninstalled it there was no getting it back, but I had my own antivirus anyway. I have used the DVD burner many times to make audio CD, and photo DVD's and it's pretty simple. All of a sudden one day the DVD-RW didn't recognize CD's the computer would say there is no disc in the drive when I put one in, any type CD-R, CD-RW or store bought. After following different troubleshooting instructions from customer service they said I need a new one and the machine is barely 3 months old! (I have read other reviews online about this same thing happening). They had to take my credit card number and put a $75 hold on it and they are sending me a new one and once I put it in myself I have 10 days to send back the old to get my $75 back. I guess they have to make sure I'm not just trying to get a free DVD-RW though. Plus, the computer doesn't work with any other mouse or keyboard I tried to switch both and the PC freezes and won't turn off, the emachines customer service man said I have to use the one that comes with it; the keyboard is nice but the mouse stinks. Besides for that, though, I have raved about this computer. Compared to my last computer you would think I spent 10 grand on this thing...I want to throw my old one out the window! It comes with some nice software (Works, Money, Photo, Burning, Games, Sound Effects, ect). The customer service reps are nice.
