| raqueldylan's Full Review: Eagle Creek Parent Survival Pack |
My husband started working for Eagle Creek when our son was 1 1/2. By that time, I had used 3 different diaper bags with complete dissatisfaction. One was a run of the mill diaper tote with a cutesy print; then a small navy bag with a not so large capacity; and a copycat with an attached diaper changing pad. My problems with these: small changing pad, no room or organization space for wallet, keys, make-up essentials (hey, I'm a girl!),cell phone, broken parts...you get the picture. Then my husband brought home the Parent Survival Pack for a test drive; it's been Parent Survival Pack for us ever since!
With my first born son, I never left home with less than 10 diapers regardless of his age, and this bag can not only carry that but also a complete change of clothes, two baby bottles, his very bulky rolled up blankie (will not leave home without it!),and my dinosaur of a camera! The front pocket offers a place for a wallet, a hook for your keys, and pockets for other items such as cell, pda,or make-up. The shoulder straps are very comfortable. The breathable fabric also cleans easily . And of course, it has a large, padded diaper changing pad! ( I don't like using the public changing tables. They're never clean!)
We love this bag for its unisex style, especially in black, though it could be updated a bit. It's so durable that I used it for my son's summer camp at age 4 1/2! I finally decided to get a brand new one for my new baby girl, though she was born after my husband left the company, NOT because I had to but because I just WANTED to.
Eagle Creek is wonderful with their customer service and have a great warranty for their products. This is a hard working bag and is well worth the money! If you live in the San Diego, CA area watch for Eagle Creek's sidewalk sale around November in Vista. Talk about savings!
