My younger daughter Madelyn (now 7 months) refused to eat the Gerber baby cereal that I had already experienced feeding to my older daughter, Miranda. She isn’t picky at all about jarred food, but with the cereal… well, that’s a different story. I went on a hunt for something different that she might enjoy! I decided to try Earth’s Best Baby Cereal out on her.
Earth’s Best Baby Cereal comes in Rice, Oatmeal, or Multi-Grain varieties. I purchase the Multi-Grain in an 8 ounce box for $2.59. It comes in a cardboard box with a metal spout to dispense, just like Gerber’s cereal. Earth’s Best Baby Cereal is made with no genetically engineered ingredients, no added salt or sugar, no modified food starch, and no concentrate. It is organic and certified kosher.
It is somewhat difficult to find. I know that here in San Diego it is available at Whole Foods Market, Henry’s Marketplace, and Jimbo’s Naturally. If you call their customer service number at (800) 434-4246, they can locate the store nearest you that sells their products. Or, you can buy online at their website – www.earthsbest.com

Directions - Mix thoroughly with water, formula or juice.

Both myself and my daughter have been very pleased with Earth’s Best Baby Cereal! She actually EATS it, and happily too! It smells decent, better than the Gerber. It has a slightly sticky and gritty texture. Earth’s Best is more expensive, but for me, it has definitely been worth it! I totally recommend Earth’s Best Baby Cereal!
