We made our own rice cereal for our son to get him used to singe grain cereals, then purchased Earth's Best Multi Grain when he was ready to move beyond single grain. He loved it, and he ate this cereal every morning from about 7 months until he was a year old. I found this cereal to have a wonderful consistency and a slightly sweet, rich flavor. Since I breastfeed, we generally just mixed water into the cereal, and our son liked it just as it was -- no need to add fruit, etc to it. It was a quick, easy, and healthy way to start the day, and it was a packaged food I felt good about giving my baby.
When we ran out of this cereal, I picked up another brand at the store -- and my son totally rejected it! He knew it wasn't the "good stuff", and he wouldn't eat it.
I'm sure he would still eat this cereal at age one, but we have moved on to finger foods for breakfast. This is a healthy, tasty cereal that any baby should enjoy.
