The amount of protein in this product, 42 grams, is more suited for a guy. Women are better off using Myoplex Lite. Most women will not need more than the 25 grams of protein you find in Myoplex Lite, but men will need the 42 in Regular and Deluxe Myoplex.
When actually making myoplex, you must use a blender. Shaker bottles make it very chunky and untasty. When making it I use at least 16oz of liquid. I prefer 8oz milk and 8oz water plus 3 ice cubes and any other supplements I might be taking. Sometimes the water is not cold enough and the ice cubes make the shake nice and cold. Of course I want the extra calories from the milk, but for you all water may be sufficient.
If you are unable to use a blender at a time, I highly suggest you try Myoplex Ready To Drink shakes, since they are premade and no need to have a blender handy at those times. Like I said this, or any meal replacement powder other than protein ones, are not designed to be shaken or stirred. Blender is the only way to go with the packets.
