I was first introduced to ebay from a friend, who was making some good extra money selling items she had around the house. Her husband had also criticized her for being a pack-rat, well now he is eating his words!
My son was about a year old and he had a ton of name brand clothes that he had grown out of so my friend suggested that I try and sell them on ebay. Boy I am glad she did because I have made a lot more money on my son's used clothes through ebay than I could have ever dreamed of making in a garage sale. This best part is you don't have to do a lot of work like you do in a garage sale!
I have had a really positive experience with ebay. I was not a real expert on the internet so I was a little scared at first. My friend showed me the few simple steps to get started and a year and a half later I am still going strong!
Ebay's web site is very self-explanatory. You just click on what ever icon you need and all your questions are answered. You first step up your account by using a credit card number, your user ID, password and your personal information like your address. Then your next step is to either shop or sell!!
The great part about ebay is they are very up-to-date and they have a feedback listing of each person. This really help when you are buying or selling because you can see how that person performed on past experiences. I really like this when I am selling an item because when I accept personal checks I can see if this is a reputable person or not.
On the selling side, ebay has just about any thing and every thing you could imagine. I can't think of anything I have looked up on ebay that I couldn't find.
Overall I find ebay to be the easiest and best way to doing any selling or buying on the internet!! I recommend this site highly to any one who has something to sell, big or little!! Also if you have something in mind that you just can't get a good price for or just can't find, check out ebay.com I bet you won't be sorry!!!
