I like many other people have been drawn into those internet sites that promise huge profits with relatively little work. Well eBay is not one of those sites. I've actually made real money. Not a lot because I do not put that many items up for auction at the moment I have a set of VCR tapes that are doing phenomenally well!!! My auction's up to $89!!! Email me and I'll gladly tell you my user ID on eBay. All you have to do is look it up if you want proof that eBay pays & pays well.
The down side is that at one time or another you will run up against a seller who takes your money & sends you nothing. Your remedy is to leave negative feedback informing the entire community what has happened then file mail fraud charges with your local post office. The feds are cracking down on this sort of thing-it's illegal! There are wonderful people on eBay who are always willing to help a new person out and there are also people who are very uptight and don't know how to read between the lines. eBay is a multimillion dollar corporation they are the venue for sellers to display their wares.
My advice is to go slow & enjoy the trip. When I first heard of eBay & logged on I thought what the heck is this?? It was Greek. I'm trying to remember the first thing I bought. I know I have it written down somewhere I know that I started out bidding on platform shoes!! Then I moved into crochet which is incredible. You can also find new CD's for like $30 & less. If no one knows of the artist & the seller starts out at .01 then you've got it made. In short. eBay is a great place to sell your wares. But be careful it's as addicting as Lay's potato chips.
