Pros: Price, great back end hook
This review is from my husband as he is the one with this ball.
I was in need of a new bowling ball after a terrible baking mishap with my old ball. My father had recently purchased the Ice ball and had told me how much he liked it. We are on a Friday night bowling league together so he let me throw it a couple of times in practice. I really liked the way it reacted with the lane.
Thus my search began. I found a great deal on the ball off the internet (paid about half of what my dad paid for his) and was eager to test it when it arrived.
When it arrived I took it to one of our local lanes and got it drilled to fit. I threw a game with it and was quite pleased with the way it reacted and hooked in the back end.
I am a strict one ball only bowler and have been quite happy being able to put this one in the pocket and also being able to pick up some great spares too.
I've had two three hundred games with this ball (both in the same year) and also a 296 along with a lot of other high games. I currently carry a 208 average from using this ball alone.
This ball works very well on medium to heavy oil conditions. When the lanes are dry I move to the left and play it tight to the center arrow. The ball has a very hard snap when it is just about 6 inches away from contacting the pins.
As always remember that grips, lane conditions, the way your ball is drilled, and counter balance are all things to consider when purchasing your ball. Just because this ball works for me doesn't mean that it will work the same everywhere for everyone.
I am quite pleased with this ball and for the price it just can't be beat.
