I bought this bowling ball for a dry lane ball. I think it works better for a league condition that's really dried up due to warm weather or the mechanic being an idiot and not putting enough oil on the lanes. As an above average rev player, it is difficult for me to control this ball on dry lanes unless I give it some more side roll. If you are looking for a dry lane ball but do not want to give up a weight block, go with the Tornado Warning.
This ball can also be used on league patterns by playing down and in. This ball does not over react off the dry like the Ebonite Stringer 2 Piece Pearl Low Flare does.
