Pros: Solid, safe highchair with easy-to-use tray.
Cons: Cheap finish, ratty seat cover made chair an eyesore, very hard to clean.
The Bottom Line: I do not recommend it because it has a cheap finish that flakes off VERY easily, the seat cover is cheap, and it is really hard to clean.

| mommy2laureng's Full Review: Eddie Bauer by Cosco Wooden High Chair Bryant |
We bought this chair a little over a year ago at Target and just retired it as our daughter is now sitting at the table. I bought it specifically because I hate the look of plastic baby toys and gear and wanted the look of dark wood furniture. As far as highchairs go, this one is really good-looking. In the beginning, I loved the way it looked in my dining room. At $110, it was a little more expensive than many other chairs, but I paid more thinking 1) I wouldn't have to look at a plastic highchair and 2) I was getting a solid piece of furniture that I could reuse should we have more children.
The chair itself is also very solid and heavy. It is not rickety and is hard to tip. But, this also makes the chair hard to move if you want to seat baby in a different spot. It does not roll in any way. The removable tray works just fine. The tray is easy to adjust and remove and has a removable top tray that fits right into the dishwasher. It also has two slide-outs for baby-food jars that keep the containers out of baby's reach.
HOWEVER, after a year of solid use,(3 meals a day), I am VERY disappointed in the durability of the finish. The dark wood finish is a very thin veneer that flakes off easily, especially where the side slats meet the seat. This area is really difficult to clean when food and other toddler-goo get down in between the cracks, and when you are able to get the area clean, it usually damages the weak finish. As a result, our once good-looking high chair now has large unattractive patches of very light wood all over the side slats. It's not pretty and not something I want to keep and reuse if we have another child. I did try a touchup pencil but the areas of missing finish are just too big to cover this way.
The cloth seat cover was also very cheaply made. It felt very soft when new, but the material quickly pilled and became scratchy. On the third wash, one of the seams unraveled and I had to sew it back together. It looked ratty almost immediately after we started using it. Overall, I was really disappointed in the poor quality and lack of durability in these parts of the high chair.
