Torn_Willows's Full Review: Electric Honey by Luscious Jackson
Luscious Jackson's new album is awesome to say the least. Once again these lovely ladies have returned with awesome beats and great lyrics. This album is a serious improvement over their past albums.
All the songs are great motivators when you just get that dance mood in your body. "Nervous Breakthrough" and "Devotion" are my two favorite songs on this album, and they are by far the ones full of the most energy and Luscious Jackson's own flavor. "Fantastic Fabulous" ranks up in the best songs of the album, quest staring the marvelous Debbie Harry (Blondie frontwoman). Cunniff and Harry both have unique voices that blend in great together.
Lead singer and songwriter Jill Cunniff shows her artistic ability and vocal abilities in this album. This album also features the sultry voice and songs written by Gabrielle Glaser. Luscious Jackson has a real winner with Electric Honey.!
