Cons: Just don't buy, save your money
We ran a home and office cleaning company and purchased a lot of vacuums, by far the WORST performing vacuum in the category of $300-$600 was the Electrolux, especially the EL7020A.
Their telescopic wand is a joke, pure plastic, over time the slide will freeze and you won't be able to extend it to the complete length, this happened with 3 replacement wands as well.
The ergonomics of the handle are horrible. It is not comfortable and allows very little movement. The handle has these terribly hard to press buttons, which over time do wear out and then you have to replace them. Another Bad idea.
Then the power head, this is nothing more than a useless plastic piece of junk. Very low powered, and does not offer full flexibility for maneuvering, it only turns left! Lets not forget it's plastic bearing and cheap grade wheels!
The filtration system is okay, please don't believe in washable Hepa filters, they were meant for use once throw away for optimum effeciency.
The bag is only 2 quarts, you will go through bags a lot! Lets not mention they also want you to use S-class (I think) bags, which are about $3.50 per bag!!!
Then look at where you buy them! Brandsmart USA has them, however if you MUST purchase this, DO NOT EVER buy the "Brandsmart protection plan" when you have to take it back, some moron at Brandsmart who knows nothing about vacuums will decide if you get a warranty fix.
Electrolux has gone down and it will eventually crash.
In case you would like to know, YES Eureka owns Electrolux.
