We purchased all new Electrolux appliances for our kitchen update because of this oven. Ours is the Stainless Steel version.

The Wave-Touch controls work well, although I've found that when they're blacked out, I need to explore a bit to find a good touch point to light them up. Still, I'm willing to live with that because of the sleek appearance.
The oven temperature seems to be accurate, and the ball-bearing racks are a dream when pulling out a heavy roaster for basting or other adjustments.
My favorite aspect about this oven, other than the controls and the gliding racks, is that the bottom heating element is below the floor of the oven. This makes wiping out after self-cleaning a breeze.
I was surprised to see the oven issue a warning on the display that it would not go into self-cleaning mode with the racks present. It has sensors so it knows if they're in or not. I suppose that will keep their chrome finish in good condition longer, and it may also be because the bearings and lubricant of the sliding racks cannot deal with the extreme temperatures during cleaning.
This is my first convection oven, so I don't have a good basis of comparison, but I don't see much difference in cook time whether convection is on or its just using conventional mode. Maybe this is true of all convection ovens. The fan is quite loud, however, sounding like it may even be lightly hitting something as it turns, which is probably the biggest disappointment.
One last nit I'd improve on if the Electrolux engineers were to ask me: After selecting which oven I'm going to use, and the mode, it would be nice if it gave a chime if I forgot to press "start". My previous GE did that, and it was a nice reminder. Sometimes I forget to press start and when I look to see how the preheat is coming along, I find the Electrolux has shut itself off. It would be nice if it automatically started at least when I select a "favorite" preset I've configured, or if this auto-start after making a selection were itself a default the user could adjust.
The clock seems to drift, too. Not as badly as the Electrolux microwave, however.
