Several months ago my dad called me and asked me to walk over next door that he had something that he wanted me to see. I walked over and he showed me his new find a Big Mouth Billy Bass. He had just purchased him at a local truck stop. My husband is a Bass Fisherman and immediately I knew that he was a must buy item. Even though he was a $25 dollar item. Now I have seen them for as low as $19.99 and $14.99 at the local vendors here in North Carolina.
Big Mouth Billy Bass is a hit with anyone who has never seen him before and children really enjoy watching Billy perform. Billy Bass is a mounted fish that sings and moves his head to face you while he performs one of the two songs he can sing. The two songs he is sings are “Take Me To The River” and “Don’t Worry, Be Happy”. He plays approximately two verses from each song.
The material that Billy Bass is made of is made with a mechanical device that swings his head out towards you away from the mounted board he is attached to and he opens his mouth to the words of the songs, basically moving his mouth simultaneous with the music. The material he is made of makes him look real to some one from a distance even.
Big Mouth Billy Bass has a switch in the back that can be positioned to allow Billy to become motion activated. If he is set to motion activation he begins singing as soon as movement is recognized. If you prefer to start Billy yourself you can just press the red button on the front of the nameplate and he starts singing instantly.
Big Mouth Billy Bass comes with the option of a DC adapter so he can be plugged into the wall and use electricity instead of batteries. If you choose to hang him on the wall you may very well prefer to use batteries (4 size C) instead. Another added feature is that Billy comes with a stand already attached and also already had a so that he can be supported and placed on pretty much anywhere.
Just in case that is not enough to make Big Mouth Billy Bass a hit for the fisherman in mind or your family, you might also like to know that Billy comes with a name plate. With the extra gold colored plate you can personally have engraved to say anything you want and attach it to the plate already in tact on Billy that states “Big Mouth Billy Bass”.
Billy will warm the hearts of the elderly, bring laughter to the innocent and make just about anyone smile.
