My Thoughts on Eliminator Fire Ant Killer Plus II Granules
I purchased this 7 lb. bag of Eliminator Fire Ant Killer Plus II Granules last summer to use in our yard and out in the field. Ant hills are always popping up here in the south and it is hard to totally eliminate the annoying little critters. I had just enough left in the bag to start treating the ant hills popping up after an all day rain last week.
Eliminator Fire Ant Killer Plus II Granules does a good job of controlling fire ants when used on a regular basis. I won't go so far as to say that it totally eliminates fire ants because if you have any experience with them, you know they move around from place to place unless you treat the entire yard, and that could be very expensive treating large areas. And they always come back after the next rain.
To use Eliminator Fire Ant Killer Plus II Granules, all you have to do is open the package and carefully sprinkle the granules over the top of the ant hill mounds. The granules falling on the mounds usually excites the ants and they start coming out of the mound. Thinking the granules are food, the ants ingest the granules and then die off. Usually the mound is wiped out the following day when I go back around to check on the treatments I did the previous day.
I think Eliminator Fire Ant Killer Plus II Granules is a good treatment for fire ants. We have battled the problem each year and since I've lived here all my live always remember fire ants being a problem. When you have children and other family members allergic to fire ants, you treat them as soon as you notice them.
This is an inexpensive way to treat fire ants. The 7 lb. bag will last for at least a month, depending on the size of your yard and how often you use the product. I wouldn't hesitate to use it again. Recommended: Yes!
