| tidblgr00's Full Review: Elmo's Rock and Roll Guitar |
As a parent of a 1-year old, I have neglected to replace the batteries in most of my child's musical toys. I just tell his they are broken. Elmo's guitar has a special place in my heart, I will replace the batteries the same day they run out. It could be because my son loves his guitar, smiles and bounces up and down to the beat. Or maybe because the tunes are not annoying. Or maybe because there are nickle size buttons that help my son with hand-eye coordination. Or maybe even that it is a good sound level. The speaker is one the bottom of the toy, so when the child is pressing the buttons, the speaker is usually facing the ground. This muffles it quit a bit. The only annoying thing is that Elmo's voice (and this is in general, not specific to the toy) is way to high. The makers of Elmo definitely do not have children.
Overall I really like this toy, and love to watch how happy my son is when he plays with it.
