Pros: decent capacity 1.1, decent wattage 1000
I am going to go over the specifications and description of this Emerson Counter top Microwave and put in my two cents in parentheses.
1.1 Capacity - (which works for most. It's a happy medium size. They can as tiny as a .06 to a 2.1 capacity for counter top styles.)
The back inside of the microwave is squared off. I figured I would mention this in case for people who prefer or like the backings to be rounded off...
Stainless steel (Most is black, and I don't believe in part of this model being stainless because my stainless steel cleaner doesn't take to it well. Either that, or the gauge on the stainless is ridiculously small.
1000 watts for superior performance (larger the wattage, faster the unit cooks and for me, 1000 watts is a time saver)
Eight 1-button settings for popcorn, beverage, potato, pizza, frozen vegetable, baby milk, fresh vegetable and dinner plate as well as speed and weight defrost
10 power levels
Child lock-out function (I have never bothered using this because I don't have children)
Kitchen timer (as most do)
LED display for easy reading
Removable glass turntable for more even cooking (replacement cost ranges from $10-$20- you can purchase a replacement through the manufacturer, Ebay, or your closest appliance parts shop)
Dimensions: 13.2"H x 20.5"W x 17.5"D
Shipping Weight in pounds: 39.0 (heavy enough!)
I have had this microwave for almost 3 years now, and with no problems. I would think this microwave to be a wise purchase.
