Emjoi's Epi Slim is a great product. It is most ideal for the facial area. It pulls on skin much less than wax, so I know it will keep me looking younger in the long run.

It is lightweight, battery operated and portable. It has enough rows of tweezers to quickly remove hair, but not so many it can't be controlled on the facial area.

I've had my unit for over two years now, and it is still going strong. I thought for $15 it would work for a few months, then be tossed away. Not so. It's durable and dependable over the long run.

What Emjoi doesn't tell you (but you need to know):
- Make sure your skin is really dry before using.
- Make sure your skin is warm, otherwise it will just hurt more and remove fewer hairs
- Sometimes hairs break off instead of being pulled out. That means in a few days you may need to do it again.
- Hairs grow in at a different rate, so the job won't last a month. You'll have to redo it every week to cover the different growth rates.
- This unit isn't great for use on legs. It's too small. Try the Emjoi unit with double-heads for that purpose.

Yes, it hurts. But trust me, you get used to it and then it's not so bad. I vastly prefer the feeling of the epilator, a temporary kind of pain that's kind of like being stuck with annoying little pins, than the feeling of razor burn or cuts which is longer-lasting.

Once you try this, you'll never go back to razors or wax again.
