Pros: Has DHA and ARA (essential fatty acids found in breastmilk)
Cons: not cheap, actually makes my child's diapers smell worse!

The reason for the bad smell is...

the iron that is added to the formula causes that smell you are talking about. It will happen with ANY formula that has iron added. For that matter, ANY diet that is high in iron will produce the same effect, even in adults.

The iron content in blood is also the reason why disposed sanitary products can have similar odoriferous emanations. 		Aug 13 '05
