Pros: Cool Techie Looking Slate Color Case
Handy USB, Parallel, and Mac Local Talk connectors
Cons: Problems on sizing output of photo prints.
The Bottom Line: My final recommendation is to buy it if you can get it cheap (like I did on EBAY). But there are newer and probably faster EPSON printers out there now.

I got my Epson Photo Stylus 750 from somebody in Texas as a refurbished by Epson product thru EBAY. Great price of only $165 including shipping. I did my research by reading reviews from magazines and on the internet and here on Epinons.com. After reading all the GREAT reviews I was expecting GREAT things from this printer.
I was especially looking for a good color printer that I could use on my MAC and Windows PC's. The 750 has all the hookups, USB, Parallel, and Apple Local Talk.
Out of the box, the Windows 98 plug and play saw the printer and I installed the driver via the CD provided by EPSON. I had setup other Epson Stylus printers before so of course I didn't bother to read any instructions in the user guide. There was some sort of problem when I tried to print. So, I downloaded the latest driver from the internet and then it printed. But it was streaking and uneven. This was using plain xerox paper in the fast color mode selected from the printer properties button. I checked it out and finally read the guide book and ran the recommended printing tests and print head test and cleaning routines. This helped, but not as much as just printing more things that eventually gave even color printing with our the streaking. Of course this means wasting color ink and the cartridges aren't cheap.
My wife wanted to get an HP Color printer, like she uses at work and gave me a "told you so" lecture when she saw the color prints wasted in the trash can.
I am now 6 months later happy with the output. I tried Glossy Photo paper (also expensive) and got OK results, but I guess I was expecting more based on the reviews. I still have to figure out how to get printouts to be the size I want them to be.... It may just be the software I'm using to edit the photos (Corel Photo House). Anyways I'm happy with my printer and that I got it relatively cheap since it was an Epson refurbished unit.
Things to watch out for: ALWAYS have backup Black and Color cartridges handy, because if either one runs out, the printer won't work. It needs to see BOTH with some ink to continue. Selecting just to print in Black or Color in the printer properties doesn't help.
