| leonbev's Full Review: Epson Stylus® Color 800 InkJet Printer |
I've had this printer for 4 years, and it has served me well. Both the black and color ink cartriges are expensive, but the output looks great. This printer has rarely let me down, but it does occassionally need to do a cartridge cleaning when it starts up. The cartridge cleanings take about 3 minutes, which can be annoying when you have to wait for a quick 1 page printout.
Did I mention that this printer isn't produced anymore? I got it on a closeout deal about 4 years ago, when it was replaced with the Stylus Color 840. It's getting rather old now, when it was built it had the best print resolution (1440x720) available. The print speed isn't half bad, either, which averages about 3 to 5 pages a minute for mixed text and small graphics.
