User Rating: Very Good
Ease of Use:
Pros:Good color prints, full ink cartridges included.
Cons:Very noisy, print jobs get skewed, scanning is slow.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this all-in-one for those who aren't professionals and don't need quality material to impress someone with.
Overall, I would have to say that I'm happy with this all-in-one printer. While it can be hardwired to the computer, I use it exclusively as a wireless device. I print to it from both my Mac and Asus Windows laptop. The only issue I have with it being wireless is that it does take anywhere from 4-8 seconds for the printer to wake up from sleep mode before it starts printing. I can't be certain it's due to the wireless aspect, but I tried it hardwired and it didn't take as long.

One of the first things I noticed about the printer is that it violently grabs paper when printing and it's the noisiest one I've ever had. I haven't officially tested how fast it prints, but I would guess it's about 14 ppm with black and white and about 20-30% slower with color. When the printed pages come out there is some skewing with the print jobs sometimes. The printing doesn't come out exactly even on the horizontal plane. I have tried to take the paper out of the feeder and put it back in exactly perfect, but that doesn't help much. Maybe it's because the feeder system is at the back of the printer with the paper standing on end. It's not a major thing for me, but for a professional it definitely wouldn't be the printer to rely on for presentations.
As for scanning, I'm not too impressed with the speed. It's definitely the slowest scanning all-in-one I've owned, but I'm okay with that because the quality of the scan is much better than my old HP printer. So again, for a professional, this all-in-one wouldn't be ideal for scanning purposes.
The copying aspect of the printer is about the same as other printers I've owned. I haven't had a chance to use the fax function yet so I can't say anything good or bad about it. While I like using this printer wirelessly, I have to say it was a pain in the but to set up initially. I went through all the steps in the correct order, but when it tried to communicate with the computer there was an error message that popped up. I called the support line and they had to walk me through my computer system for about an hour to figure out what to do. Eventually, it was figured out and I was able to get the thing work with both my desktop and laptop. That was three months ago and I haven't had an issue with communications since.
