My R380 is amazingly durable I have dropped it repeatedly spilled all sorts of things on it, took it golfing with me in the rain, and I can still use it.
The clarity on this phone is miserable. In a 30 minute conversation the call is likely to be dropped twice, and the phone has never worked inside a large building. The hands free attachment that comes with the phone makes it nearly impossible for anyone to hear you even with five bars of service.
The R380 is extremely portable. To my knowledge I am the only person who has said that. The phone kit comes with a belt attachment device that works very well for me.
The battery on this phone is amazing. My normal battery life is for about eight hours of talking; the manual says to expect about half of that.
When I make an entry on the keypad it is very common for another character to appear instead. For example I push 1 I get * I push 4 I get * and so on. This makes it very difficult to dial, communicate with any touch tone menus, and use the notepad.
