| sdenligner's Full Review: EstÉE Lauder 100% Time Release Moisture Cre... |
OK, so if you've been reading these postings you've noticed that I'm a HUGE Estee Lauder fan. But this stuff is soooo wonderful feeling. I couldn't decide between the cream or the lotion, but am so glad I went with the cream, it's so fluffy and rich, I honestly have to hold myself back from using it on my hands, neck, feet, knees..everywhere. You can literally feel your skin drink this stuff in. I tend to slather on a layer into my skin is a bit shiny, go eat my breakfast and by then it's completely absorbed for soft pink baby-like skin!
I used to think there wasn't a difference between department store moisturizers and drug store ones, but to feel a drugstore on your skin after using this is like wearing plain cotton after wearing silk, you just KNOW how good it feels.
I would definitely not recommend this to anyone who has oily skin and just wants a sheer moisturizer, this is made for junkies like myself who love the feel of soft, supple, skin.
I once stayed at a hotel in Columbus that was frightfully over air conditioned. The air was horribly dry, so I just kept every few hours putting on more of the 100% Time Release lotion. Finally my boyfriend asked to borrow it because his face was peeling from the air! He loved how silky his skin felt, but gulped at the price (besides I think he'd be too embarrassed to buy products from a make-up counter).
Try this product once and you'll wish they made a corresponding body lotion (Clinique's Comfort Cushion Body Lotion is close). When you apply it you'll suddenly be imaging godiva chocolates, satin pillows, and 30-count egyptian cotton sheets (only not as pricey).
