| kleighb's Full Review: EstÉE Lauder Fruition Extra |
Estée Lauder Fruition Extra Multi-Action Complex is recommended for use with all skin types and
contains " Multi-hydroxy acids to gently remove layers of dead cells for smoother, clearer, more radiant skin. "
This premium product promises to do the following:
* Visibly reduce flakiness, dullness, uneven texture and minor discolorations.
* In just one day, see up to a 64% increase in skin clarity.
* See up to a 55% improvement in evenness of skin color within weeks.
Neither the box, packaging insert, bottle, or Estee Lauder's website list the complete ingredients in this product, so unfortunately, I can't share those with you.
For $42.50 for 1 oz., or $70.00 for 1.7 oz., you too can see if it delivers as promised. Estée Lauder Fruition Extra comes packaged in a cobalt blue glass bottle with a gold cap, and gold type printed on the bottle's surface. The 1 oz. size has a regular cap, and the 1.7 oz. size comes with a treatment pump. This treatment pump makes the product much easier to dispense, so for both this reason, and the greater value, I recommend purchasing the larger size.
Estee Lauder Fruition Extra is one of those products that I have used several times over the last 5-6 years. I purchase it when I want to spoil myself. When my grandmother recently passed away, I found out that she too was a lover of Fruition. She had 6 boxes of it safely tucked away in her bathroom drawer, unopened. I've had a year's supply of Fruition now, and every time I use it, not only am I improving my skin, but I am remembering my grandmother. I think that's a beautiful thing in itself.
This pale peach, slightly shimmering product has a very delicate citrus/fresh floral scent, and an even more delicate texture. It absorbs remarkably fast to a silky, matte finish. It is non-greasy, but lightly moisturizing for me. It leaves my face feeling very soft and satiny, not dewy and greasy like some AHA creams. It is, to put it in the simplest of terms, addictive. Which is why a bottle does not last very long with me. I find myself applying quarter sized amounts to my face, neck and decollete. Why not? I wish I could smother my entire body with it.
I have fine lines and wrinkles, but no major signs of aging. I think that if you have pronounced wrinkles, that you won't notice much with this product. You'll need a stronger peel or resurfacing treatment from a dermatologist.
As an added plus, Estée Lauder cosmetic counters in major department stores usually have Fruition Extra in sample sizes in their give-aways, so you can buy a lipstick or eyeshadow and get an assortment of products to see if you like it. If in doubt, ask for a sample. The sample they typically give out is enough for 2 weeks use.
A search on Yahoo! shopping or Ebay might turn up some Fruition extra for you at a discount, if you're resourceful.
I highly recommend Fruition Extra with 5 stars, and I know that my grandmother felt the same way. After all, why would she have had 6 unused bottles of it in storage?
