Pros: This product works well.
Cons: Would be nice if they included an applicator.
The Bottom Line: This is an excellent creme for smoothing lines that have already appeared and for delaying new ones.

| Prepoia's Full Review: EstÉE Lauder Resilience Eye Creme |
This product works! This product is wonderful! This product is worth the price! This product is highly recommended from me to you.
I’m starting this review the same way I started my review on Estee Lauder Resilience Face and Throat Crème because my success in delaying wrinkles and dry skin is a combination of Estee Lauder’s face crème and this Resilience Eye Crème. Would one be effective without the other? I think that either, alone, would still work wonders. But, I like the assurance that using both gives me and I love the results I’m seeing on my face from using both.
In my other review, I mentioned that I thought the face and throat crème could also be used by men. That crème is scented and some people might feel the scent too “girlie” for the he men we all love. Although I think the face crème has a soapy smell that transcends gender, it’s all a matter of preference.
This Resilience Lift Eye Crème is a product that can “definitely” be used by either gender. It has no scent or very little scent at all. If a guy can get over the shock of applying a tinted pink product to their faces, this is one product that will help reduce and cover wrinkles in male and female faces. This product really does work!
The Eye Crème comes in a small frosted glass container with a gold lid. The weight is .5 oz so it is a “tiny” container. But, it last for a really long time because you only need to touch the trouble spots with the crème. This size usually lasts me for three to six months and I use it in more than just the eye area of my face. I also use it around my mouth where tiny and not so tiny lines have decided to appear. I also use it on my neck area where age lines started appearing about three or four years ago. I really wish that I had known about these products before I reached the age of fifty (which is when small lines became more noticeable because of drier skin that develops at around the same age.) Perhaps if I had been using it “preventively” in my forties, less would have developed to begin with.
To use the eye crème, dip the tip of your finger (or use an applicator) and then touch the trouble spots. I put a touch of crème at the outside V of each eye, a touch across the upper lip area located between the upper lip and nose, and then a dab on the neck (wattle part if you have one). Then I gently, in an upward motion, smooth into the skin areas.
The label on the box states: For drier, mid-life skin. This lightweight, ultra-hydrating crème lifts, tones, smooths and soothes skin in the eye area. (I believe that it should, however, say “smoothes” not smooths.) Dermatologist-tested. Ophtalmologist-tested. I think that the advertising blurbs must be written by English, as in London, England because of the British spellings. I must also disagree with the soothing statement. There is no mentholated or cool feeling when applied.
For ingredients people, these are what’s listed on the box: Water (Aqua Purificatta) Purified.Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkll).Butylene Glycol.Polyethylene.Hydrogenated Polyisobutene.Ceteraryl Alcohol.Cetyl Esters. Isostearyl Neopentanoate.Polybutene.Cyclomethicone.Methylclucose Sesquistearate.Cetearyl Glucoside.Artemia Extract.Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate.Saccaromyces Lysate Extract.Whey Protein (Lactis Proteinum).Cholesterol/Behenyl/octydodecyl.Lauroyl Glutamate.Arginne Ferrulate.Cholesterol.Sea Whip Extract. Heather (Calluna Vulgare) Extract.Wheat (Triticum Vulagare) Germ Oil.Dimethicone.Aminomethyl Propanol.Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate crosspolymer.Carbonmer.Polymethyl Mentha-Crylate.Cetyl Alcohol.Disodium EDTA.Phenoxyethanol.Methylparaben.Mica.Titanium Dioxide © 77891.Iron Oxides © 77491. Well, although I have no idea what 99% of these ingredients are, they sure do a great job when they’re combined and made into this eye crème.
The cost of this eye crème is $42.00. It’s not cheap but it certainly does a great job and lasts a long (don’t be shocked when you first see the container size) time. The only place I’ve been able to find both of these crèmes in my area is at Marshall Fields. While I’ve never seen them on sale there, sometimes you can find sample sizes included in their weekly cosmetic bargain pages. This week for example, they include a sample size of this eye crème (along with a couple of other items) if you buy $35.00 worth of Estee Lauder products. The only less expensive site to purchase these products is at Strawberry.net online. (Read my review on Strawberry.net if you are interested in saving on these and other expensive cosmetic products. It is a free shipping site and no taxes.)
One word of warning about this eye crème and the face crème from my last review. Make sure that the product you purchase has the EXACT name of the ones I’ve written about. Estee Lauder also carries a line of “Resilience” products that vary somewhat from these two. I have no idea if they are better, the same, or less effective. The names of these two products that I’ve reviewed and attest to working are:
Estee Lauder Resilience Lift Eye Crème
And
Estee Lauder Resilience Lift Face and Throat Crème SPF15
May I end the way I began: This product works! This product is wonderful! This product is worth the price! This product is highly recommended from me to you.
