If your cleanser doesn't remove makeup as well as dirt and oil, you have the wrong cleanser! This product really doesn't have much use to start with but also I found that it left traces of my cream blush on my cheeks.
I didn't purchase this, I received it in a gift with purchase, and am glad that I didn't waste my money. When I first used it and felt how nice and creamy it was I was encouraged (I'm a sucker for creamy, souffle like face stuff) but it really didn't seem to do anything that my cleanser couldn't accomplish.
Overall I feel this is an extra step that you don't need in your daily cleansing routine. When I was a little girl I used to watch my mom wipe cold cream off her face and watch the make-up dissolve, that's what this is supposed to do, but the cold cream still seems to work the best if you wear that much makeup.
For this price I really feel you should just invest in a cleanser that will do it all, dissolve your makeup and extract dirt and oil with no residue, they're not that hard to find, ironically even Estee Lauder makes a great one...who knows what their product development people were thinking
