Estée Lauder Take It Away Total Makeup Remover
6.7 Oz. bottle
For high quality make-up remover, I highly recommend Estée Lauder Take It Away Total Makeup Remover. It leaves the skin soft and moist and without that oily feeling.
For years I had used baby oil as a make-up remover. I was one of those people who didn't suffer from break-outs, so I never worried about unwanted blemishs froming using an oil-based product on my face. But last year for Christmas, I recieved Estée Lauder Take It Away Total Makeup Remover as a package gift from a friend who swears by this product. I tried it, and loved it. Now it is the only product I use for cleaning my face at night, even if I do not use make-up during the day. (besides soap and water)
The reasons behind using this product at night is that it helps clean the pores. You can feel the difference after using this product in a couple weeks time. I take very good care of my skin, and make sure I always use what I feel is the higher quality product. Estee Lauder is one of the more higher quality brands out in the market today. Generally the prices for their products are a bit more steep, but for a face that feels good afterwards, I will pay the 20.00.
The scent of this product is also quite pleasant, a soft citrus mixed with herbs. It reminds me of a bath product in the odor sense. It isn't strong, but it also doesn't disappear once it is on the skin. It is like going to bed with herbs under my pillow. It also doesn't leave a residue on the pillow case.
There is different ways to remove make-up, they are all in different fashion magazines, but I only use one way. I put a bit of the creme on a q-tip, and swipe eyes gently with it. Then I use tissues to clean nose, cheeks and chin. I only put a little on at a time, there is no reason to layer the tissue with the creme, a little bit goes a long way. After removing make-up, I do then wash with soap and water...if it is mask night, then a mask. Afterwards, I go over the face again with make-up remover (if not mask night)to completely clean any traces I might have missed and to also receive that all over fresh clean feeling.
For a feel good face in the evening that will last till morning, I highly recommend using Estée Lauder Take It Away Total Makeup Remover.
