I've been using Advanced Night Repair for close to 10 years, so when they offer the big bottle, 3.4 oz, I usually purchase it.  It retails for well over $100 but for me it really is a good value since I can't use too much of this serum.  The product is also available in a 1.7 oz bottle for $80 and a 1.0 oz bottle for $52.  The 3.4 oz is only available periodically.  

Estee Lauder states that this is their "#1 repair serum" and that it is a "comprehensive, high-performance anti-aging serum-inspired by groundbreaking DNA research-brings your skin a dramatic reduction in the visible signs of aging."  They also claim that it will "continuously repair the appearance of past damage, prevent future damage and deliver high levels of hydration."  

The directions state to apply every PM to clean skin and to follow with a moisturizer.  They suggest using several drops and then massaging into skin.  

The serum comes packaged in a brown, square, glass bottle with an eye dropper style top.  For the most part, the eye dropper works perfectly and is an effective method to dispense the product.  I have purchased the occasional bottle though, with a defective eye dropper that makes it a pain to retrieve and dispense the product.

My experience:
As I mentioned above, I have been using Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair for around 10 years.  I typically cleanse my face at night, and then this is the first product I apply to my clean skin.  I then follow with other treatments and then my moisturizer.  

The serum is lightweight and slightly milky in appearance.  I apply just a few drops to my clean fingers and then lightly spread all over my face and neck.  It absorbs quickly, leaving my skin silky smooth and soft.  I feel that it is quite hydrating for a serum and there have been times I have skipped my moisturizer after using this product.  In the winter I do usually need to apply moisturizer as well though.  

I feel like my skin just drinks this serum up and I have never experienced any irritation from this product.  I have noticed than in the past when I used to get the occasional pimple, the Advanced Night Repair seemed to clear it up and heal it quickly.  Whenever I have noticed reddened areas on my face from recent pimples, this product evened them out and seemed to help them heal more quickly.  

I'm in my late 30s and always get compliments on my skin and I often have people tell me that I look much younger than my age.  I really feel that my youthful appearance is in part due to using Advanced Night Repair all these years.  It really makes my skin soft and smooth feeling, and it seems to heal any damage and even out my skin tone quickly.  I also don't notice any type of scent from this product which I appreciate since I feel that too many skincare products are overly scented.
