Very good sound (esp. high freq), excellent insulation

I bought them to replace the lousy in-ear headphones that came with my iPod. I didn't regret it. It took a while to really accept and follow the advice to "insert them well into the ear canal". To do that the key is to help open the ear canal with the other hand (with the arm above the head...). They are very comfortable. The outside sounds virtually disappear (watch out if you're walking on the sidewalk and crossing streets!). The high and mid frequencies are definitely superb. The low frequencies are alright - I'd like to hear more of them, and get them only after I pump them up with the appropriate eq preset.
