This product is a shrink wrapped package holding 36, tent type name plates. Each 9 5/8" x 6 1/2" name plate folds over to become a 9 5/8" x 3 1/4" tent.

Bands of yellow border all sides of the name plate, against the yellow will be found upper and lower case letters in black with the numerals squeezed into the bottom right quadrant.  Left hand is shown in teal while the right is magenta. 

All in all these are eye catching, child pleasing functional name plates.
 
Over the 3 + decades spent in the classroom I have purchased, and used many name plates to identify work spaces, pinning boards, bulletin board space, cubbies and the like.  Handy especially for the first days of the new Osage County First Grade term; this Name Plate features letters of the alphabet, left and right hands and numerals 0 – 9.  And, while it can be used as a standing tent; Osage County First Grade uses the plates cut in half, half on the table top and half on the pinning board.

I find Little Learners prize knowing that there is a place in the classroom set aside just for them; plus these manuscript lettered Name Tags are first-rate for children to use as a handwriting model during seat and partner work sessions.

Name Plates fashioned of especially chosen raw materials selected to meet industry and governmental regulations regarding suitability and safety of usage in classrooms and other settings where small children are present feature lignin and acid free usability.  Paper is durable, robust, colored with permanent, smudge resistant non toxic inks to withstand many little hand touches during the school term.

I like to laminate many of the paper products used in our Osage County First Grade classroom.  Name Plates take well to laminating, and, laminating tends to brighten colors, can be wiped off easily in case of spills and become even sturdier than the card stock not laminated.


I use and have long employed a diversity of large to small, flat and tent type name plates.  The plates are an low-cost device, readily accessible in an extensive range of colors, styles and designs whether used as game cards, signs, penmanship guides or whatever it is we choose to use them for in the classroom.
