I was wondering about this one when I saw the ad for it in my WalMart paper! And you are so right about expensive vaccuums, I've witnessed the death of a Dyson, they are so over hyped lol. We go through vacs no matter who they are made by.
I was hoping this came with attachments besides the pet hair one. It's so hard to find uprights with a good assortment. :) Great review as usual.

yeah, it is a good deal. It is just heavy and larger... but if you keep it on one story of your home it is not as bad. Lugging up and down the stairs is a bit much for me.

For under $100... man I think I'm going to have to look into this one. I was thinking about a second vac since we have a Kirby which is a pain to transfer up/down stairs. Plus we have a heavy shedding dog too. Thanks for the info MT.
