Pros: Handy case with storage bins, lightweight and compact
Cons: Inconsistency of stitching Not adjustable for thicker materials or quilting.
I bought this machine last year and thought it would be adequate for basic sewing. I am not a newby sewer and have found this machine to be nothing but a big headache. It will sew rows beautifully and then all of a sudden make bird's nests out of the bobbin row.
The machine is difficult to thread and also winds the bobbin inconsistently which may be part of my 'bird's nest' problem.
The pressure foot is not adjustable, so can not put towels or other quilted items under the foot. Perhaps this machine would be adequate for basic mending, but otherwise is nothing but a royal pain and I am now shopping for it's replacement. My husband suggested I sell it, but I hate to give my headache to someone else.
