User Rating: Very Good
Ease of Use:
Pros:Washable, Easy to Use, Durable, Handy Seat Base, Very Protective
Cons:Seat size on stroller a little too large, Little heavy, Can not jog
The Bottom Line: There isn't anything particular that sets this travel system apart. It has been an efficient tool for us and I would recommend this to anyone seeking an affordable system.
When my husband and I saw the the "travel system" strollers we immediatley jumped on board and began researching them. On other sites the Aura Select got about a 4 star rating.

When you purchase the Aura Select you get:
-A car seat equipped with one seat base and removable head rest
-A heavy duty stroller that the car seat clips in to
CAR SEAT features:
Very washable liner: The material is nylon (like an umbrella) and it is removable for washing. We have only needed to spot clean the liner as we had a shearing liner for winter. (We used the JJ Cole Bundle me)
One Seat Base: The seat base comes in very handy for the main vehicle used to tote around our babe. Most new car designs have elastic straps in the back seat that attach to the base then it is buckled in with a seat belt. This eliminates the need to buckle in the car seat each time your baby rides in the car. Once the base is installed properly you simply line up the seat with the base and set it down. The car seat automatically locks in to place. To remove the seat there is a large handle (lever) on the back of the seat you just push to "unlock" the seat from the base. My one complaint about this feature is that it seems that my baby is sitting up too much. This was an issue when he was very young (2 months) and could not hold his head up. His head seemed to lean forward a little too much in my opinion. This however may vary from vehicle to vehicle depending on the angle of your back seat.
Z Shaped handle: I tried to carry the seat around in the store with to get the idea and it seemed that it was easier to carry. As my son got older, I thought that a straight handle might have been easier, however, the Z handle fits nicely in the crook of your elbow and makes it easy to carry that way. I am very petite and my husband is average and he says that he really like the Z handle for all around use.
Adjustable/Removable Pillow: Is very standard. Nice to cradle your newborns head and up until our son was about 4.5 months old we used it. He got too big for the pillow, which is ok because he could hold his up on his own.
Canopy Top: Awesome feature; We utilize the canopy on a daily basis. It folds back when not in use and simply pulls forward to give your baby protection from the elements. When you fold it back it also velcros so if you don't need the canopy it doesn't accidentally fling forward.
Harness: The multiple height adjustments are handy but changing the height requires some time. The harness buckles seem sturdy and are quick and easy to latch and unlatch. Watch baby fingers and cheeks! My husband and mother have both pinched fingers and once a cheek in the seat belt fasteners. Take extra care buckling in your babe!
-Protects babes 5-22lbs up to 29"
-Multiple harness heights; harness should be set at or below the shoulder.
As always follow MFG guidelines and instructions to ensure the safety of your baby.
Fold Down/Flip Open: I think that the design of this stroller was meant to be one handed however I am not strong enough or coordinated enough to juggle baby and stroller. My husband however has no trouble pulling this open with one hand. Once open the stroller is locked in open position (you do not have to set and mechanism) so all you have to do is flip the "play tray" forward. Once the tray is set in the forward position you can set the car seat down in to the stroller (similarly to the car seat base it clips in). To fold the stroller up you only need to push one button located on the handle and pull the stroller in to a folded position.
Large baby seat: The seat is large enough for a toddler however, our son who is getting close to out growing the car seat is too small for the stroller seat because the harness does not adjust small enough to clasp tight to him. We actually purchased an "umbrella" stroller for the interim.
Wheels: Are large and plastic. The wheels are suitable for strolling, or fast walking however they shimmy too much for jogging or running. The larger wheels do make for a nice smooth ride. The turning on the stroller is not impressive but adequate for it's size.
Handle area: The handle is ergo shaped and padded with soft foam. I appreciated this feature especially for walks that last more than an hour. The handle height seems universal, I am 5'3" and the height seems comfortable for me and my husband who is 5' 10". There are 2 drink holders with grippers in them. A regular sized bottle of water fits nicely in them and holds tight. There is also a wipe dispenser and small storage box under the wipe dispenser. The wipe dispenser is best used for one day because the wipes tend to dry out in it.
Under seat storage: Very handy for shopping or taking a picnic to the park. It is large enough that I can fit the diaper bag and a few shopping bags with room to spare.
Canopy: One of the coolest features. It has a small window on the handle side so you can see your baby when the canopy is drawn open. It is good sized and provides great protection. Also, when your car seat is clipped in the stroller you can close canopy on both seat and stroller to create a cocoon around your babe in case of inclement weather or intense sun.
Washable fabric: Like the carseat, it is very easy to spot clean.
Size and Weight: To me, I feel like it could be lighter but I can maneuver it in and out of my hatchback, and I can set it up provided I have both hands. For someone not at petite as me I am sure it would be easier.
Summary: Overall the stroller/seat combo has suited our needs. It would be nice if there was an insert of sorts in the stroller for younger self sitting babies. The car seat was perfect for us and we will be using it for our next babe.
