Yes, this is a fun high chair. It's a great idea--a high chair that converts to a table and chair for toddlers. It's wonky looking, but not too hard on the eyes.
As a high chair, it does have some nice features. The padding is durable and easy to clean, with a bright, happy pattern. The tray is broad, has a nicely raised edge to keep food from accidentally hitting the floor (we all know that nothing prevents intentional food dropping), and cleans up easily with a damp cloth. Though the latches for the tray seem to be prone to breaking, Evenflo's customer service is fast and responsive when it comes to sending new parts.
So why am I about to give this chair a thumbs down?
It tips. Easily. A child trying to get down can tip it with a good tossing of his/her weight. It tips with just a small amount of effort when a toddler on the floor gives it a good bump or shove. And it's heavy enough to give a child in its tipping path a good bump or bruise.
The straps are thin, can be tough to adjust, and tend to bite, leaving rad marks on baby's belly.
Another problem is the lack of a t-bar or secondary restraint. I suppose it's not necessary, but I really do prefer high chairs with bars to help prevent baby from squirming out of the straps.
If Evenflo would widen the base (or flair it just a bit), make the straps more "kid friendly," and add the bar, it would be perfect. As it is, I think it's a hazard.
