Pros: great if time span allows multi-use

Cons: close in age can't advance to next stage

Beware of spending extra on toys/equipment with multi-uses if you plan on having another baby soon. We have learned the hard way. With baby #1, if a product had another transformable use, we bought it. Baby #2 came around 2 years later, so we needed the high chair (not this exact model, however, but same idea) and had to revert the coloring/craft table back to a high chair. Baby #3 is due in 2 weeks (2-1/2 years later.) #2 was still using the high chair without the tray to reach the dining room table, so it wasn't ever used as play table.

We found this to be true of several multi-use/stage toys also. So if your kids will be close in age, stick to the simple stuff.
