Pros: goes from high chair to toddler table and chair
Cons: bulky; hard to get tray off; hard to move around
The Bottom Line: Very bulky, hard to use, heavy, not a good idea if you want a lightweight, easy to use, easy to travel with highchair.

I received this chair as a gift. The idea behind this chair was good--reclined infant feeding seat, upright toddler feeding seat, take-apart toddler chair and table--but it really didn't pan out. It's all plastic, and the future table serves as the support for the chair, which is heavy and awkward. However, because it is all plastic, it is easy to clean. The pad is velcroed down on top and bottom (it wraps around underneath), so it is a cinch to clean.
To change the chair's height and position, you lift the chair and place it into either a straight groove (for straight up toddler seating), or a curved deeper groove (for reclined infant seating) that leaves the front part higher than the back of the seat. You wouldn't want to do this with a child in it, as the chair has to move a lot, and with weight in it, it is hard to move from groove to groove smoothly.
The tray is supposed to be one-hand easy to put on and remove, but neither my husband nor I ever had much luck, since it has to line up perfectly to go in or out, and to steady the tray to line it up perfectly takes two hands! The chair does have a seat belt, and with the tray on there I don't see how any child could ever "escape", so security-wise it's good. The seat pad is inflated plastic, which doesn't look very comfortable to me.
Overall, it's "footprint" is several square feet, so you need a big space to put the highchair in. It doesn't move around easily because of it's size and weight, so if you need to move it a lot, don't get this chair. It is definitely not one you would travel with. Ours is now currently in the garage waiting for possible use as the toddler chair and table. We got so frustrated using this chair that we got a travel high chair that straps onto a normal chair to use as our daily highchair!
Update - Jan. 23, 2003 - Our daughter is 20 months old now, and the chair and table are back in the house being used for coloring and puzzles while mom or dad are on the computer. Our daughter loves to sit in the chair and pull her "desk" towards her, and draw away! It's working out great for that purpose. The storage compartment is a good size and depth for coloring books or paper and crayons, but the circular device that you turn to lock or unlock it is difficult for adults to open, and our 20-month old definitely can't maneuver it. So we leave it in the open position, which means the "lid" of the compartment stays popped up a little.
