Pros: removeable seat padding makes for easy clean-up
Cons: big, bulky, and the tray broke almost immediately
The Bottom Line: I would never recommend this high chair to anyone. We were only able to use it for a month before it broke.

| kdevos25's Full Review: Evenflo Steps To Grow Multi-Use High Chair |
My husband and I received this high chair as a baby shower gift and we were thrilled. We were hoping for a high chair that was multi functional, sharp looking, and sturdy and this looked like the perfect fit.
We tried out the infant seat for our daughter shortly after we received the high chair and we were not satisfied. It sits very high up, making it difficult to feed her from a sitting position. We retired the high chair for a couple months (not an easy task, since it's so big and bulky) and tried again when she was able to sit up. At first, we really liked it. She sat well in it, there was plenty of room in the seat and she seemed very secure when strapped in. Unfortunately, the tray was very difficult to get to latch properly and we didn't quite get it right one day. She kicked the tray, the tray fell on the floor, and the piece that is used on the tray to lock it into position broke right off. I am a daycare provider and have used several different high chairs and this is not the first time that a tray has fallen on the floor. It is, however, the first time that a piece has actually fallen off the tray. When we looked underneath the tray we discovered that the plastic pieces that lock the tray to the base are very thin. We don't have any other high chair with that problem. We are very annoyed to have such a large chair just sitting in our laundry room now, taking up all that extra space, and not getting used. This chair was a HUGE disappointment. Maybe we'll pull it out again when we can use it as a chair and desk.
