| jeanniekerns's Full Review: Evenflo SuperSaucer Activity Center |
Let me tell you. When I had my first daughter in 1986, these exersaucers didn't even exist, I sure wish they did though. My son was 2 months old when I bought the Evenflo Supersaucer, I thought a little too young yet to try, but let me try any ways. It was the best thing I could have done for me and for him. He was already holding up his head, so the only problem I had was he was tiny compared to the saucer. So what I did was stick a little pillow in between him and the front of it, so he could sit up and see all the wonderful toys in front of him.
Now I know, 3 months olds, what can they do? Well not much your right. But this saucer is an eye catcher, and that is exactly what it did, caught his eye. And he was in amazement for a couple of hours. The colors on the saucer are vibrant and loud. Dark blues, reds, and yellows all surround the baby. Then regardless of colors, the toys they have provided on this excellent product are wonderful. My son's favorite thing was the water bowl ( it is half a circle with little stars and glitter, and it is half way full of water.). Then comes the colorful little circles on a half circle that they move from one side to another. And if that is not enough, there is a little blue circle on the saucer that you just touch and it starts to play music.
I tell you, this is an excellent learning tool for your child. Improves their motor skills, their balance and even better they get exercise without having to worry about chasing them all over the house in a regular walker. I too was very skeptical about buying this, I was use to the walkers that have nothing on them but a tray in front. Get rid of them! Buy this instead, it will keep them occupied for hours, and leave you with no worries as well.
The only thing I will warn you about is this, when the baby gets to be a year-old or older, don't let them sit in this without being right there. I have learned from experience, and when there that age, they love to try out new things, and tipping forward is one of them. This saucer will tip forward if you lean to far over. So please be careful. Otherwise, this is an excellent choice for your new baby.
