This is great item to have for your baby. I do have to say I was skeptical about getting one. My first two kids came from the time of the walker and I just couldn't understand how a baby could have fun just sitting in this thing, boy I was wrong!
My father in-law bought this for us among other things after I had my third child. It was a little difficult to get put together, but my son just loved it.
The Supersaucer has many activities to keep baby busy. They have little colorful rings on an arch, a big blue button when pushed plays music, little trains on a bar, a globe with water with little water animals floating in it, colorful disks to spin, although they don't spin that well, a dial with pictures on it, a clear cylinder with colorful beads for baby to spin, a teether on a bendable rod and a mirror in the tray. The whole Supersaucer can rock with baby's movement, or you can have the little legs down to keep it stationary. There are 3 height adjustments, the seat rotates and bounces and has 6 different locking positions for the seat if you want baby in one position. The seat is removable for cleaning and can be thrown in the washer, although it's not the easiest thing to take off and put back one. And it's pretty sturdy too! Maximum height for it is 30 inches, although they say once your baby can walk it's time to take them out and keep them out.
It helps baby exercise and strengthen the legs and keeps him/her occupied.
I never had my son in it for more than 15 minutes at a time, but he had a lot of fun while he was in it. He loved chewing on the teether and looking at himself in the mirror, but bouncing and twirling in the seat was his absolute favorite thing to do. He used it from the time he was able to sit on his own, up until he learned to walk. My doubts were definitely put to rest on how a baby could have fun in one of these and I'm very glad that my father in-law bought it for him.
All in all I think it's a wonderful item for parents to have for a child under 12 months.
