Have an infant? Need a little bit of sanity?? This is your answer - The Evenflo Supersaucer.
A Supersaucer is a stationary play station for an infant to be in and play in.
We had the basic model for my first child which he thoroughly enjoyed. We were quite happy with the base model since it cost us nothing - we borrowed if from my sister in law. He never like to be in a reclining position so this was the answer to a lot of our prayers.
This time we 'inherited' the Evenflo Supersaucer. It was given to us by a friend that is through having kids. We LOVE it!!!
The bottom of the Supersaucer is round and concave. This can also be used as a ramp for matchbox cars, or so my 3 year old thinks! Just make sure you take the cars out before you put the baby in, could hurt those little feet! There are 3 'legs' that connect the top to the base, these 'legs' are adjustable to 3 different heights depending on the height of the child. The seat spins all the way around so the baby can reach any of the many toys this is accessorized with and it made of cloth. The seat is also removable so it can be washed.
The tray of this Supersaucer is equipped with many toys to keep baby busy. There is a teether for baby to chew on, a clear plastic wheel that spins and has colored beads inside it and makes lots of noise!!, on the tray in front of this wheel is a mirror for baby to look in and drool on, a circular thing with pictures in it and a big handle that when the baby turns it they see different pictures, an arch with plastic rings on it that make a wonderful noise, a globe that has water, glitter and fish in it - this swooshes around nicely when baby is jumping around, three rings that baby can spin, a button that plays music and lights up and last but not least a mini train that moves along a bar. As you can tell from this list there are sufficient toys to keep a baby happy for at least 15 minutes which could be the difference between a sane or insane mommy lol!!!
My kids are definitely not gentle with their toys and this has lasted wonderfully! Have had no problems at all. This cleans up very easily although, the seat can be a little hard to remove and put back on.
There are so many items out there now for babies that it gets hard to pick which ones you want or need. I definitely think you can't go wrong with this purchase. I have never heard of a kid that didn't like it!
