Once my son was close to the weight limit for his infant car seat I started the big boy car seat search. I knew that once I chose one, I would be stuck with it for at least a year. The Evenflo Titan Deluxe is a perfect choice for our family. The seat is incredibly plush, and has a cushion that you can remove for comfort. I haven't really found a use for the cup holder, but I'm sure when my son is older it will come in handy. My son is sort of fussy in rear facing seats because he can not see anyone, but the second we placed him in the Evenflo he was happy. He seemed comfortable, and he fell asleep once we were on the road. One of the features of this seat that I really enjoy are the straps. With traditional car seats, you need to adjust each strap *left or right) and get them to an even length. With the Evenflo, if you pull the left strap up, it takes the slack out of the right side. So you can eisily get both sides even just by pulling and you do not have to adjust. If you want to extend the length of the straps in total, there is a fairly easy to understand lever behind the car seat. All in all, as a technologically challenged woman, I've been able to assemble and adjust this seat without help from my boyfriend. That alone makes this a good choice for the Mom that does all the work or the single parent.
