The Bottom Line: They're great for breastfed babies, don't leak, and won't put a strain on your wallet.

| karengop's Full Review: Evenflo Ultra Sensitive Response Wide Nipple Strai... |
We started using these bottles after struggling to get our breastfed baby to take the Avent bottles, which we believed were best for breastfed babies, for six months. After giving up on the leaky Avent bottles with the "gagging nipple", we tried the Evenflo Elite, Evenflo Ultra and Gerber Nuk. We found that our daughter took to the Evenflo Elite and Ultra as well as she did to the breast. Of the two Evenflo nipples she preferred the Ultra nipple. The ultra nipples can be purchased separately from the bottle and they come with two ultra collars in the nipple pack. These collars will fit on any standard baby bottle, we preferred to use the standard Gerber bottles since the designs and ounce markings on the Evenflo bottle had a tendency to wear off. Besides the fact that our baby was finally taking a bottle with ease, we were overjoyed that the bottles did not leak when bottles that cost twice as much as them leaked all the time. We also found that the shape of the ultra nipple is much more like the breast in shape, unlike Avent bottles with the abnormally long and wide nipple. We did have several occasions where the nipple would collapse, but loosening the collar slightly usually seemed to alleviate the problem. Just be sure not to screw the ring on too tight or the nipple will almost certainly collapse.
