I moved to England last year and spent a bazillion dollars to import my cat over here with us. Of course poor Phantom had to sit in quarantine for six months, but when he was finally due to come out, I realized I had better start looking for pet supplies!

Of course....they don't have any of the brands of clumping cat litters that I've tried over the years, and I've tried just about every litter on the market in the USA. So I stand in the litter aisle, staring at a bunch of products I've never heard of and never tried. I didn't recognize a single brand. Then I notice that 90% of them are not even clumping litters...most of them were clay or woodchips. I panic.

Ever Clean to the rescue

I finally found one small section of Ever Clean boxes...seemingly the only clumping litter they had, so I picked it up. The box said very little about the product besides that it was formulated for less tracking! That was enough for me to consider this litter.. My cat is a slob! Most of the info on the box wasn't even in English, but I took it home anyways and figured I'd give it a try.

Now all of you who have cats and who have ever used clumping litter know that all brands claim that their litter clumps harder and faster than anything else out there. And you all probably know that they really don't clump as well as they say. How many times have you had those clumps crumble and break and they start to fall through the slots of your scooper? That's the only story I've ever known for the litters I've used. Even Scoop Away which was my favourite brand in the USA still suffered from this problem. The clumps always broke, which in turn meant that the soiled litter wasn't getting dumped out and then the litter box stunk and I'd have to change all the litter.

Well let me say, Ever Clean has got to be the most remarkable litter I've ever used. How many people get excited about cat litter?? This litter really does clump solid! I have been using it now for about 4 months and I have never had a single clump break up on me.

Less tracking?
Well, I can't say that they sold me on that one....Maybe it's my cat, as I said he's a slob....but he seems to drag this litter around the house just as much as any other litter. My cat drags litter from one end of the house to the other. He drags it all the way up the stairs....just everywhere. I really think that a boot mat is the only cure for that. But at least the litter that he is dragging around the house is clean litter. When he tracked other litters around the house I was always worried about the fact that he was spreading yucky litter around, but since this litter clumps so well, that's one less thing to worry about!

General Info about Ever Clean litter
Just a few extra tidbits to describe the litter:
The granules are about twice the size of normal clumping litter (is this the secret???)
It does have a slight fragrance, but it's not strong or overbearing.
The litter doesn't really stick to poo (as it doesn't need to) so that means you are using less litter and so it lasts longer.
One box of Ever Clean lasts us about 2 months with one cat.
It's not recommended to flush Ever Clean in the toilet!
Most importantly, it stays fresh and it stays clean!!!!!!!

My recommendation:
Once you try Ever Clean, you will never use another litter again!
